NVIDIA and Taiwan-based manufacturing partner Wistron have officially launched construction on a significant AI supercomputer manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, marking a notable expansion of semiconductor and advanced computing production in North Texas. According to Dallas Innovates, the groundbreaking event took place at AllianceTexas, a major industrial park developed by Hillwood. The facility represents NVIDIA's broader strategy to bring high-tech manufacturing back to the United States, moving away from overseas production models that have dominated the sector.
Wistron acquired two substantial properties in Fort Worth last summer to support the operation: a 766,994-square-foot building called Westport 14 and a 324,598-square-foot facility sourced from Trammell Crow Co. Combined, these spaces will serve as manufacturing and testing grounds for NVIDIA's advanced AI supercomputers. The project underscores Fort Worth's growing appeal as a hub for technology manufacturing and positions the region competitively within the increasingly critical AI infrastructure space.
